In the living rooms of the Romans

On October 26, the Roman Quarter will come alive once again. As you stroll through the Roman houses, meet the residents of Carnuntum and learn about their fascinating life stories. The Roman kitchens will be brought to life just as they were in days gone by. The aroma of freshly baked Roman flatbread and globi (curd cheese balls) with honey is irresistible, and you’re welcome to sample them.

We especially recommend the family tour at 11:00 a.m. and the time-travel tour at 12:00 p.m. for children and people of all ages.
